Our client is a dynamic, young company looking to expand our business in the UK. They provide a range of water treatment systems and consultancy services in the water sector and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new and existing business and provide technical and commercial support to the UK and world wide force.

This position is ideally suited to an experienced Business Development Manager in the water treatment industry, with an understanding of sales/marketing processes and the complete tender process.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will involve the identification of new markets and clients. Development of key opportunities and relationships along with hitting new business territories.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, be able to identify business opportunities, demonstrate and ability to construct profitable and winning commercial models. Preferably Degree or HND qualified in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
It is essential that the successful candidate will have experience in the water treatment sector This will include experience of dealing with blue chip clients across the UK & internationally. Experience in risk management techniques is essential. Knowledge of the processes, equipment and services that are used within the water industry is also required.
