Our client is a large Water Treatment Company that offers a wide range of water treatment services.

They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment/Legionella Risk Assessor in the North West/Midlands to cover a mixed bag of contract.

The role will entail carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments, compile schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents including for clients.

An integral part of the role is providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the Legionella risk assessment.

Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments

Good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.

Carry out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carry out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Write up reports and attend meeting with client to discuss findings of report.

You must be self motivated and be able to work well on your own initiative and be able to work under pressure.
