A large sized player within the water treatment/water hygiene industry that provides high quality water treatment services to a variety of clients across the UK presently requires a Water Treatment Engineer who must be based in the Midlands.

They are looking for an individual who comes from a chemical background and has at least 12-18 months demonstrable experience within the water treatment industry.

The successful applicant must be able to carry out the following:

Chemical analysis on Chlorine dioxide units.

Pre-commissioning chemical cleaning of heating, chilled & condenser systems.

De-scaling items of plant using latest techniques.

Inspections of installations with a submitted risk assessment including basic schematic & water hygiene report.

Cleaning & sterilisation of cold water storage tanks and associated hot, cold down services to Health & Safety guidelines.

Sampling programmes to monitor corrosion levels within closed systems. Routine temperature checks.

Remedial works.

In general, you will be flexible, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
