A forward thinking and progressive water treatment consultancy that provides a range of services in the water treatment/air hygiene services is currently looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to join their busy team in Hertfordshire. They are looking for an individual who has at least twelve month's relevant experience within the water treatment industry.

Key responsibilities include monitoring client's air and water systems to ensure they comply with current legislations.

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

In addition to this, the candidate will also need to be able to carry out temperature monitoring conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems, interpret the results and maintain and install chemical dosing systems.

You will be involved in pre-commission chemical cleaning of heating, chilled & condenser systems.

De-scaling items of plant using latest techniques.

Inspections of installations with a submitted risk assessment including basic schematic & water hygiene report.

Sampling programmes to monitor corrosion levels within closed systems.

Routine temperature checks and remedials.
You must have the ability to discuss issues with clients and must be capable of physical work.

You must be flexible, have good client facing skills and have the ability to work on own initiative.
