Vacancy Description:

Our client is a highly successful and expanding water treatment company, who provide a wide range of technical services to an international client base. An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and hardworking Water Treatment Service/Equipment Engineer based in and around the Hertford area to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong equipment, mechanical and water treatment background and must have proven and significant experience installing and servicing water treatment and plant equipment such as; RO units, Dosing equipment and water softeners. Previous experience working on large scale industrial and manufacturing sites will be beneficial. Application from Luton, Harlow, Watford, Dunstable and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Key Attributes

The successful candidate will come from a strong mechanical and water treatment equipment background.
Will have significant experience working on large scales industrial and manufacturing sites.
Have previous experience installing and servicing RO units, Dosing equipment and water softeners.
Will ideally hold an electrical qualification.
Must be fully conversant with ACOP L8 guidelines.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing, servicing and troubleshooting with dosing and control equipment as well as pre-treatment plants and water softeners.
Installation of o Chlorine Dioxide dosing equipment.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Maintenance - chlorination's, cooling towers, shower heads, disinfections.
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and COSHH regulation.
Maintaining and building a good rapport with the company's mixed portfolio of clients and staff.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports.
Attending meetings.

Overall, the successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethics and the ability to carry out the work effectively and within time scale and must be prepared extensively as per client's requirement.
