Vacancy Description:

Here is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for a role as a Water Treatment Operations / Commercial Manager to join a prominent and diversified water treatment company based around the Bristol area. The successful candidate will be e responsible for managing and developing the operations side of the business and promoting growth through the selling and development of the company's water treatment/hygiene services. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has a proven track record of working within a similar role within the water treatment industry and who is commercially focused, astute and of smart disposition. Consideration will be given to applications from Gloucester, Swindon, Taunton and the surround areas.


Requisites:

The individual must come from a strong operational and commercial background and will have a proven track record of growing water treatment accounts through the selling of services.

Will hold a good working knowledge of water hygiene, legionella and plumbing duties.

Must be well versed with the water treatment industry and legislation.

Must have excellent communication, people management and customer service skills.

Will be confident within a client-facing role.

Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.


Key Responsibilities:

Day to day operational management of all site works.

Managing the company's site staff. Providing training and ongoing development.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety procedures.

Running contracts - providing quotations and tenders to clients.

Ensuring that targets are achieved.

Building and maintaining good relationship with clients from all levels.

Improving productivity and efficiency.

Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.

Promoting and growing their business rapidly.

Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.
