Vacancy Description:

Our client is a highly successful and dynamic water treatment consultancy with a national presence. They pride themselves on providing specialist and professional water treatment services to a mixed portfolio of clients. As a result of acquiring new prestigious contracts, they are now seeking a self-driven, enthusiastic and commercially focused Water Treatment Sales Manager in or around the Birmingham area. Consideration will be given to applications from Coventry, Stoke on Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton and the surrounding areas.


Requisites:

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a strong chemical, sales and account management background.

Holding a degree would be beneficial but not essential.

Must be an excellent communicator - oral and written.

Will have good organisational, presentation, leadership, people management and client facing skills.

Be fully conversant the water treatment industry.

Must have a proven track record working within a sales manager role, within the water treatment industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are to achieve targets by generating new business leads and managing a portfolio of clients within a geographic area.

Identifying and winning new legionella/water treatment contracts - cross selling their water treatment/legionella services/compliances to a cross section of clients across the UK.

Accountable to the company's Director and liaising with other team members as and when required.

Running of the business efficiently and supporting the sales team.

Dealing with customers - building a good working rapport.

Achieving the Key Performance Indicators.

Growing and developing the business strategically and nationwide.

Achieving targets and goals by generating new business leads and at the same time managing the company's existing clients/accounts.

Finalising tenders and quotations.

Managing the sales team - training, appraisals.

Dealing with queries appropriately and effectively.

Attending meetings as per requirement.

Dealing with the Health & Safety issues - technical issues, etc.
