A new opportunity has arisen for an individual with experience of waste management to manage a waste transfer station.

The role will involve collection and disposing of problem and hazardous waste including (asbestos, electrical waste, florescent light bulbs and tyres) in the correct manner adhering to strict procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

" Scheduling all collections.
" Organising transport, seeing the collections and the disposal process through from start to finish.
" Ensuring a smooth and safe service is carried out.
" Managing the site and a team.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

" Competence and experience within a waste management environment.
" Management experience.
" A methodical and responsible approach to work.
" A Certificate of Technical Competence in Waste Management.


Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Location: South of England
