Our client is part of a large a large multi-disciplinary organization providing a broad range of consultancy/environmental/occupational hygiene and other services to clients across the UK.

Due to further growth of the business - they are now looking to employ an Occupational Hygienist to join their busy team to cover various contracts in Scotland.

The ideal candidate will be qualified, experienced Occupational Hygienist- holding BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications and must have a minimum of two years' consultancy experience. Holding the qualification in general Health and Safety (eg - NEBOSH Certificate) would be beneficial.

The work involves undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality surveys.

Dealing with mainly a wide portfolio of commercial clients, hence this position requires the individual to have excellent client-facing skills.

Overall, you will be flexible, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be conversant with the Health and Safety issues and have the ability to work independently and under pressure.
