Due to continued growth of the business, a leading asbestos consultancy has a requirement for a Health & Safety Consultant to cover their project work throughout the UK.

The applicant must hold the NEBOSH certificate and must have previous experience and knowledge of the asbestos industry - this could have been achieved through asbestos consultancy or through asbestos removal, probably as an asbestos supervisor.

The role involves attending their sites to undertake a variety of inspections relating to the Health and Safety performance of their team of asbestos removal operatives during the course of their work.
Liaising with various clients - hence you will have good communication skills - both written and verbal.
Risk Assessments/Method statements, auditing staff on site, COSHH, all aspects of of health and safety.
In general, you will be self-motivated, flexible, have a level of computer literacy and have the ability to work on own initiative.
