Vacancy Description:
Our client is a well - established consultancy, UKAS accredited dealing with safety solutions that is hygiene, health and safety, environmental and asbestos risk management services and due to on-growth of the business, they are currently seeking to employ a Fire Risk Assessor/Consultant in London.
They are looking for an individual who has varied experience working within this role - minimum standard for Advisor/Assessor - NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion and preferably technician status with recognized bodies such as IFSM/IFPO/IFE. For the Consultant: Minimum Membership Status IFSM/IFE/IFPO and registered with one of the recognised Registers of Fire Safety Practitioners.
Duties will entail:
Undertaking fire risk assessments and audits in a wide variety of industry sectors - commercial, industrial and residential.
The work will involve preparation of fire safety management systems.
Fire plan drawings, fire drills, delivery of training courses, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, etc.
Consultancy, enforcement liaison.
Overall, you will be flexible, have good communication skills, both written and verbal, have good computer skills and have the ability to work independently.
