Our client is a multi disciplinary environmental consultancy that is currently on a large expansion programme of their asbestos division. They are now looking to recruit a number of asbestos consultants and surveyors to carry out consultancy work within the West Yorkshire region. Working from a mainly office/site based role. Candidates will carry out type 1, 2 and 3 surveys, air monitoring duties and ensure workloads and targets.

The company is looking for candidates with at least three months experience to work from an office/site based role. Successful candidates will be experienced in the following activities:

Carrying out type 1, 2 and 3 surveys, air monitoring duties, ensuring workloads and targets are met, developing client relationships and foster repeat business, mentor and train junior surveyors and liaise with quality manager to ensure standards are maintained.
Asbestos Consultants must have the P402 qualification, and preferably S301 qualifications. Successful candidates will be able to work on their own initiative and will not only get involved with asbestos surveying but also project management and the offer of consultation advice to the consultancies large client portfolio.

All candidates must have a good knowledge of current Health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
