Our client offers a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy providing Supervision, Air Monitoring, Surveys, Analytical Services and Sample Analysis. Available throughout the UK, with over 100 staff, our fully trained analysts and surveyors provide a first class service delivering professional and practical solutions; we are able to ensure statutory compliance for both property owners and occupiers.

They are currently seeking a Contract Managers to work a from their Midlands office. Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for the execution of contracts from initial pre-contract meetings through to completion, whilst ensuring the desired levels of financial performance and customer service are met.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

" Ability to establish relationships with clients and potential clients.
" To provide forward planning of work to ensure that staff and resources are deployed to maximum efficiency.
" To provide motivation, advise and guidance to departmental staff.
" To ensure that staff work efficiently and to a high professional and technical standard, and that reports and other documents are accurately produced.
" To keep accurate records of work undertaken
" To provide factual and impartial advice to existing and prospective clients
" To represent the company at meeting seminars, events and other occasions
" To track and monitor customer trends in order to identify opportunities for growth
" To ensure possible marketing possibilities are acted upon
" Work closely with the Operations Manager and other Contracts Managers to deliver growth and achieve business plan incomes and profit
" To provide concise and accurate project information as and when required
" Improve account management, client satisfaction and overall customer experience of the client services

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants should have a good knowledge of the asbestos analytical, surveying, and consultancy market, with the ability to enthuse the site staff reporting to this post. A good standard of education is required with applicants holding as a minimum the Certificate of Competence in Asbestos qualification or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, good IT skills, especially MS Word and MS Excel and a full driving license are essential.
