My client is a leading environmental consultancy with contracts throughout South Wales and the South West, and specialise in Asbestos Management, and Environmental disciplines. Due to continued expansion they are now looking for Asbestos Surveyors/Analysts/Consultants to join their team in South Wales.

Duties will include carrying out environmental monitoring in relation to asbestos
analysis of bulk samples for the presence of asbestos fibre
Preparation of reports associated with asbestos surveys, asbestos analysis and monitoring. Advise clients, contractors, etc on asbestos and associated hazards.

Lead Surveyors must have P402 as a minimum, equivalent or superior qualification or have working knowledge of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994.
Lead surveyors must perform satisfactorily within the Quality control scheme in accordance with the requirements of UKAS Guidance RG 8.

Bulk analysts must gain P401.

Analysts must have P403 & P404 as a minimum, equivalent or superior qualification. They must perform satisfactorily in the in-house Quality system
Analysts to have working knowledge of relevant HSE regulations for asbestos removal and the ACoPs and Guidance Notes supporting these regulations.
