Our client is an established asbestos consultancy dealing with environmental issues.

They are seeking to recruit an Asbestos Senior Consultant/Project Manager in the North East.

The candidate must have the Asbestos P402, P403, P404, S301, CCP qualifications and must have experience in the Asbestos Industry.

The candidate must have experience in carrying out type 1, 2 and 3 asbestos surveys, ensuring workloads and targets are met, developing client relationships.

The candidate must also have previous experience in carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air Other duties will include overseeing contractors carrying out removal work.

The candidate must be prepared to be involved in all aspects of asbestos site work, which will involve project managing.

Other duties will involve ensuring technical compliance for all work that is carried out and to liaise closely with the UKAS Technical manager and UKAS Quality manager in accordance with the company UKAS documentation

Providing quality services and information to clients and must have knowledge of all current Asbestos and Health regulations.

Complying with UKAS documentation and the Company Quality Systems manual including all procedures with support from the Group Quality Manager.

Assisting the Operations in identifying new staff.

Reporting to the Operations any occurrences during business activity that may require reporting to our insurers or legal advice.

Assisting with tendering as and when required

Compiling recommendations and approving reports as necessary

In general liaising with clients and working on own initiative.
