Our client is a highly successful UKAS accredited asbestos risk management company. They are involved in other Environmental Sectors. The company carries out asbestos surveys, air monitoring and bulk sample testing at sites throughout UK.

They are seeking to recruit an Asbestos Senior Consultant in the North East.

The candidate must have the Asbestos P402, P403, P404 qualifications and must have a minimum of twelve months experience as an Asbestos Consultant/Project Manager.

Successful candidates will be experienced in the following activities:

Carrying out type 1, 2 and 3 surveys, air monitoring duties, ensuring workloads and targets are met, developing client relationships and foster repeat business, mentor and train junior surveyors and liaise with quality manager to ensure standards are maintained.

Successful candidates will be working on a mixed bag of contracts and must be able to work on their own initiative and will not only get involved with asbestos surveying but also project management and the offer of consultation advice to the consultancies large client portfolio.

All candidates must have a good knowledge of current Health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
