Vacancy Description:

Working for a large Asbestos Consultancy Service that have offices throughout the UK, they are a progressive, forward thinking company.

You will be to be responsible for the preparation, update and delivery of training courses all in accordance with current legislation and the quality standards of the company.

Provide a high level of consultancy advice to clients being responsible for the preparation of, where applicable, desk top studies and compliance reviews.

To ensure technical compliance for all work that is carried out.

To assist the Technical Director in the continued development and growth of the Training business.

To deliver courses to both internal and external delegates.

To provide quality services and information to their clients. Must have knowledge of all current Asbestos and health and safety regulations.

To comply with Company Quality Systems manual (CQSM) including all procedures with support from the Group Quality Manager.

To assist the Technical Director in identifying new staff

Report to the Technical Director any occurrences during business activity that may require reporting to our insurers or legal advice.

Attend operational team meetings and technical meetings as and when required.

To liaise with Operations Managers in relation to staff training requirements. Compile recommendations and approve reports as necessary.

Identify inter company sales opportunities and pass leads to Leadline

To be alert to business opportunities and promote the services of the group.

To liaise with the Regional Business Development Managers and the telesales team in order to achieve the development and growth of the training business in the UK.

Provide technical guidance to asbestos division staff when required. Attend training courses as and when required. Prepare health and safety risk assessment as required.

To carry out any other duties required as part of the overall strategy to achieve the company's objectives.

Good communication and presentational skills at all levels, both written and oral. Good commercial awareness. Effective time management. Ability to work on own initiative and to tight timescales when necessary. Flexibility and responsiveness to work and above all a Positive attitude

Positions from Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to Lead Surveyor, Asbestos Analyst, Asbestos Laboratory Technician, Asbestos Quality and Technical Manager positions are available through to Director level.
