An independent asbestos/environmental consultancy dealing with environmental issues is currently looking for an Asbestos Lab Analyst who must hold the Asbestos P402 certificate to work for their laboratory in the North West. The candidate must have experience of asbestos analysis within the asbestos field.

The role will require you to carry out analysis of asbestos bulk samples to determine the asbestos content with reference to HSE publication MDHS 77. You will comply with UKAS documentation and the Asbestos Quality Control Procedures.

Your main duties will involve booking samples received from site, completing technical paperwork, typing certificates of analysis and other laboratory duties.

You must be flexible, IT literate and have good communication skills.

You must have the ability to organise workload effectively.
