Our client is an Asbestos Consultancy Service that offers a professional service ensuring compliance with Asbestos Legislation. They are looking to recruit a Lead Asbestos Surveyor to join their team at their Kent office. The role as Lead Asbestos Surveyor will be to undertake Asbestos type 1, 2 and 3 surveys and project managing asbestos removals work. Candidates will be Asbestos P402 qualified.

The primary role as Lead Asbestos Surveyor will be to undertake type 1, 2 and 3 asbestos surveys and project managing asbestos removals work. The remainder of the role is devoted to project management and client liaison including preparation of fee proposals, plus technical co-ordination and auditing in line with the companies UKAS procedures.

Another important part of this role is client liaison so successful candidates must be experienced in dealing with clients on a regular basis.
Other duties will include managing junior staff and training them on site and carrying out consultancy duties.

Candidates will be P402 qualified, will have a degree in a relevant science discipline and a least two years experience as a Lead Asbestos Surveyor.
