The company is looking to recruit P401 qualified Asbestos Laboratory Analyst to work within the companies laboratory in their Kent office. Providing specialist advice and service in all asbestos related problems to both the public and private sectors throughout the United Kingdom. The company provides a range of services to their large portfolio of clients including building surveys, sampling, testing, analysis, air monitoring.

The company provides a range of services to their large portfolio of clients including building surveys, sampling, testing, analysis, air monitoring and asbestos removal project management.

Your main role will be to carry out analysis of bulk samples to determine the asbestos content with reference to HSE publication MDHS 77. You will be expected to comply with UKAS documentation and the Company Quality Control Procedures

Other duties include completing Analysis Test Data Sheets, booking in samples that have been received from site, typing of certificates of analysis as and when required and you will make sure the laboratory is kept clean at all times

Successful candidate will ideally be qualified to degree level in a relevant science or environmental discipline and have a positive attitude to their work, along with a full UK driving licence.
