Vacancy Description:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated deal maker with experience in identifying and closing strategic partnerships in the UK. This person will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the sales process, from lead qualification through to service launch.
The successful candidate will have exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record in dealing with senior managers. This individual will need to command the respect of his partners and colleagues and demonstrate senior management attributes including leadership, ownership of relationships and projects, be a strong team player, a professional with a great attention to detail, as well as having a strong grasp of the bigger picture.
In addition, you will need to thrive under pressure, coordinating actions across different business functions and time zones to meet agreed upon deadlines. You will need to have strong financial and analytical skills with a good understanding of complex contract law.
This person will be consistently proactive and entrepreneurial, but able to work within defined parameters and over-deliver on commitments. They will need to be comfortable working within a small team environment whilst building and retaining effective support from the wider cross-functional organization.
Responsibilities:
" Identify, structure, negotiate and close significant and complex deals.
" Forecasting and pipeline management.
" Effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Sales Engineering, Marketing and operational teams.
" Identify critical business issues and opportunities for growth, collaborate with Departmental Managers, and embed an external market point-of view into the strategic direction of the company.
" Successfully support strategic decision-making and sales initiatives through analysis and presentation of findings to senior management and the broader organization.
" Support business development activities and negotiations with third parties.
" Be the customer expert. Provide recommendations to align customer practices and needs with product and service strategy.
" Serve as trusted advisor to functional business partners.
" Work with executive leadership to define and launch strategic and operational initiatives.
" Manage, develop and coach department's analysts, temporary employees, and cross-functional partners in research methodologies, presentation development, analytical/problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
" Lead cross-functional, global teams to drive and implement key initiatives through developing team work plans, and managing workloads and deadlines.
" Manage key vendors either for on-going work or for key initiatives.
" Must be able to take responsibility for completion of a project with multiple parts and work with others to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
Requirements:
" Strong knowledge of, and exposure to, the search and online media industry.
" Extremely partner-focused, proactive and effective within a team environment.
" Exceptional presentation, communication and consultative selling skills to senior managers.
" Strong team player combined with entrepreneurial skills.
" Excellent analytical and financial skills with a good understanding of complex contract law.

" Strong technical understanding of the internet and web based applications.
" Identify critical business issues and opportunities for growth, collaborate with Google.
" Graduate degree from a leading business school
" Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Must communicate with a highly technical management team.
" Must be extremely well organized, analytical and capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests for information simultaneously.
" Proven track record of experience at the associate/project manager level at a leading consulting firm , technology experience preferred.
" Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; demonstrated ability to lead and drive complex operational and strategic initiatives.
" Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
