Our client is a recently established Asbestos consultancy in the field of hazardous materials. The company has over provides comprehensive asbestos surveys, monitoring and management services to a broad cross section of client groups seeking to control the hazards from materials such as asbestos. Due to ongoing expansion our client is now looking to recruit an Asbestos Bulk ID Analyst to join the team located at their Hampshire office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the analysis of asbestos samples to ascertain whether any asbestos is present. Asbestos analysis will be conducted using a polarised light microscope. Additionally you will be required to complete analysis test sheets and attend operational team meetings when required. Other duties will include looking after the laboratory equipment and stock levels and ensuring that samples are disposed of in the appropriate manner.

For this role you will need to be P401 qualified. You will have worked within a UKAS asbestos laboratory for at least three months and hold a full and clean UK Drivers licence.
