A large environmental/asbestos consultancy that offers professional advice and technical support services on a wide range of environmental issues is now looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in Greater Manchester, who will have proven experience in undertaking Asbestos Surveys and Asbestos Air-Monitoring roles.

The applicant must have the Asbestos P402, P403, P404 qualifications and a minimum of twelve months experience in the Asbestos field. You will experience in carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearance and re-occupation and personal air testing.

Duties will also include overseeing contractors, carrying out removal work and assisting senior surveyors on type 1, 2 and 3 asbestos surveys and make sure work is carried out in accordance with MDHS 39/4 asbestos fibres in air and provide asbestos report. You will have a good knowledge of the current Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.

In addition you will be providing clients with asbestos advice and supervise asbestos contractors on site, hence liaising with clients on a regular basis.
