Due to expanding workload, one of our clients, a leading asbestos/environmental consultancy that provides specialist advice and services in all asbestos related disciplines currently requires a keen and self-motivated Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their laboratory team in Greater Manchester.

The applicant must possess the BOHS P401 qualification and must have at least six months experience working within this role and within the asbestos sector.

The main duties will entail receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory, preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Completing record forms and typing certificates of analysis as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within required time frame.

Overall, you will be flexible, focused, have good IT skills, have good communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
