A national asbestos consultancy that provides a wide range of environmental/asbestos services has an excellent opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst with the Asbestos P402, P403, P404 certificates and proven experience within the asbestos field to join their team/office in Essex.

The applicant must have experience in carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual tests, 4-stage clearance and re-occupation and personal air-testing.

The main duties will include overseeing asbestos contractors carrying out removal work and carrying out asbestos type 1, 2, 3 surveys on various buildings and making sure the work is carried out in accordance with MDHS 39/4 asbestos fibres in air and provide asbestos report.

Having a good knowledge of the current Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos would be advantageous...

You will be liaising with clients from various sectors on a regular basis, hence good communications skills are required.
