Our client is a large UKAS accredited asbestos risk management companies. They are part of a wide Environmental consultancy. The company carries out asbestos surveys, air monitoring and bulk sample testing at sites throughout the UK. They are now looking to recruit an asbestos surveyor/analyst to work in their Scottish office to work within the surrounding areas.

You will ideally have Asbestos Surveying or Asbestos Air Monitoring experience or are P402, P403, P402 qualified. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out asbestos surveys on various types of buildings, on site air monitoring in accordance with HSE procedures and monitor contractors to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Other duties include assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials, book samples into the laboratory ensuring their analysis within a given time frame.

Ideally candidates will be P402, P403 or P404 qualified and have a minimum of three months experience as an asbestos surveyor/analyst.
