Due to expanding work load, a large multi-disciplinary organisation that specialises and covers a range of diverse areas in the asbestos industry is currently looking for an Asbestos Analyst to cover prestigious contracts in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate must hold the Asbestos P403 and P404 certificates and must have proven experience within the asbestos field.

As an Asbestos Analyst, your role will entail carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke leak, reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal testing.

Assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials, book samples into the laboratory and ensuring that reports are completed.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis.

In general, you will be flexible, come across as confident and willing to work on own initiative.
