Our client is an established asbestos/environmental consultancy providing a comprehensive range of asbestos, occupational hygiene and other environmental testing services across the UK.

Due to an increase in workload, they actively require an Asbestos Analyst to cover a mixed bag of contracts in East Yorkshire. This postion could lead to working towards Assistant Project Manager in the near future.

The applicant must hold the Asbestos P403 and P404 certificates and must have at least twelve months previous air-monitoring experience within the asbestos industry.

The role will involve carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Health and Safety legislation.

Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with clients from all levels on a regular basis.

In general you will be flexible, have good communication skills both written and verbal, and have the ability to work independently.
