Our client is an asbestos UKAS accredited company and they offer a wide range of asbestos services. Due to continued workload, they are now seeking to employ an Asbestos Analyst who must hold the Asbestos P403, P404 qualifications and must also have experience within the asbestos industry to cover contracts in Coventry, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (East Midlands).

Your main responsibility will be conducting on-site monitoring in accordance with HSE procedures - carrying out smoke, background, leak, and reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing.

You will be overseeing asbestos contractors on site ensuring they comply with the Health & Safety legislation.

Other duties will entail assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials and booking samples into the laboratory.

You will be liaising with clients on a regular basis.

You must come across as flexible and willing to work on own initiative.
