Our client is one of the leading providers of environmental/asbestos services and they operate in a number of other market sectors. Presently, they are seeking for an Asbestos Lead Surveyor/Analyst to cover a mixed portfolio of contracts in and around the East Anglia area.

The role will involve carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on various properties - commercial and industrial.

Undertaking asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, re-occupation, personal air testing, visual and 4-stage clearances.

Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures in relation to asbestos.

The remainder of the role is devoted to managing projects, liaising with clients from all levels, collating and writing reports, plus getting involved in technical co-ordination and auditing in line with the company's UKAS procedures.

Other duties will include managing junior staff on site.

In general, you will be a good team player, flexible, have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal and have the ability to work on own initiative.
