This thriving asbestos company that has an outstanding reputation for providing professional and quality services to both private and public sectors currently has an opportunity for an Asbestos Lab Analyst/Surveyor/Analyst to join their team in Devon.

The individual must hold the BOHS P401, P402, P403 and P404 certificates and must have previous experience within this role and within the asbestos industry.

The role will entail:

" Undertaking analysis of bulk samples.

" Completing technical paperwork, typing of certificates of analysis, booking in asbestos samples from site, typing of certificates of analysis and other general laboratory duties.

" Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on various properties.

" Producing accurate asbestos reports.

" Conducting on-site monitoring in accordance with HSE procedures - carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearance, re-occupation and personal air testing.

" Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety legislation and standards.

" Offering consultation advice to clients, hence you will have good client-facing skills will be required for this role.

Overall, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and work on own initiative and as part of a team.
