Our client is an independent testing, analysis and consultancy business. They carry out detailed surveys (types 1, 2 and 3); provide an UKAS accredited inspection and airborne fibre monitoring service; help manage the removal of asbestos and provide general advice and analytical expertise. They are now looking to recruit an asbestos surveyor/analyst to work in their Cornwall office. The ideal candidate will have the P402/P403 or P404 qualified and have a minimum of six months experience as an asbestos surveyor/analyst.

The successful candidate will be carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearance and re-occupation and personal air testing to clients. Other duties will include overseeing contractors, carrying out removal work and assisting senior surveyors on type 1, 2 and 3 surveys. All work is carried out in accordance with MDHS 39/4 Asbestos Fibres in Air, so the successful candidate should be up to date with current regulations
