We are currently recruiting for an asbestos surveyor to join a Cheshire based environmental consultancy. The consultancy provides professional services in asbestos surveying, sampling and assessments of asbestos containing materials within buildings, structures, and land sites. Successful candidates should have a years experience of the asbestos industry and their P402 qualification. The company offer an ongoing training program, competitive salary and benefits.

Working on projects throughout the North West and the UK the successful candidate will be experienced in the
following duties:

Carrying out type 1, 2 & 3 Asbestos Surveys to current regulations
Be used to taking samples of suspect materials for analysis
Have the technical knowledge to be able to recommend remedial action to be taken to minimise any health risks
Be used to overseeing asbestos removal contractors and make sure they comply fully with current asbestos regulations.

Be able to undertake airborne monitoring before, during and after asbestos removal
Be able to provide clearance certificates on satisfactory completion of work
