Our client is a leading Asbestos Risk Management Consultancy, UKAS accredited. The company carries out asbestos surveys, asbestos air monitoring and asbestos bulk sample testing at sites throughout the UK and have a world wide presence.

They are looking to recruit an Asbestos Project Manager in Cheshire - North West, who should have a proven track record within the Asbestos Industry over a minimum of three years

In addition, the candidate must hold the Asbestos P402, Asbestos P403, Asbestos P404 or the Asbestos S301, Asbestos CCP qualifications.

You will be responsible for the management of a team of asbestos surveyors and asbestos analysts working on asbestos projects and as a Project Manager you will have full control over recruitment, training and mentoring staff. You will oversee all asbestos projects and must be experienced in client relationships and carrying business development. Other duties will include getting involved in the Asbestos UKAS accreditation system.

Applicants at all levels would be expected to possess sound asbestos surveying skills, with sound knowledge of all asbestos-related legislation, good IT skills; full driving license and (preferably) demonstrable experience of asbestos report writing. Experience in Asbestos Bulk Sample Identification, Asbestos Clearance, Asbestos Air-Testing.
