Due continued growth of the business, an asbestos consultancy covering a number of prestigious contracts is currently looking for an Asbestos Surveyor/Consultant to work for their team/office in Bristol.

The successful candidate must hold the Asbestos P402 and S301 qualifications and must have at least twelve months' working experience within the asbestos field.

The successful candidate's main role will entail carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on various buildings.

Collating and writing asbestos reports as and when required.

Ensuring workloads and targets are met.

Other duties will include getting involved in the UKAS accreditation system, mentoring and training junior staff.

Overseeing contractors and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Asbestos Health and Safety legislation.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis, hence you will have good client-facing skills.

In general, you will be self-motivated, must be able to work on own initiative and will not only get involved with asbestos surveying but you will also be involved in project management and also offer consultation advice to the company's large client portfolio.
