Vacancy Description:

Due to achieving new prestigious contracts, this growing and multi-disciplined company with a large presence across the UK is presently seeking for a smart and self-driven Asbestos Business Development Consultant to work in and around the Bristol area. Our client would consider applications from Gloucester, Monmouth, Caerphilly and the surrounding areas. Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a background within the asbestos industry ideally selling Asbestos Consultancy services.

Requisites:

Ideally, the applicant must come from a solid sale, business development, management, and technical background and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos industry, although working in other sectors would be beneficial.

Will have good formal education or any other qualifications would be beneficial.

Will be fully conversant with the asbestos industry.

Will have excellent communication, people management, organizational, presentation and client-facing skills.


Purpose of the Role:

Generating new business leads whilst still managing the company's existing clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Developing new business through cold calls, mailshots and client meetings

Pricing and tendering.

Working to Key Performance Indicators.

Attending and conducting meetings and discussing financial position of the business, etc.

Achieving target and goals.

Dealing with any queries with regards to sales, etc.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures.

Developing plans for new clients and suppliers - contracts or services.

Continuing to develop client relationships.


In general, the post-holder will be tenacious and astute and have the acumen to take the business to the next step.
