Our client is a large multi-disciplinary company providing health and safety and environmental/asbestos services to both private and public sectors across the UK.

They are presently looking for an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their busy team to cover various contracts in and around the Bedfordshire area.

The applicant must have the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates and must have extensive experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

The principal role will encompass:

Carrying out 4 stage asbestos clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Supervising contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.

Collating and producing reports as and when required.

Liaising with the company's portfolio of clients on a regular basis.

Overall, the candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good communication skills, both written and verbal, be well versed with the Health and Safety procedures and have the ability to work on own initiative.
