Our client is currently a leading provider of Health, Safety and Environmental Services and is UKAS accredited. They provide services on both a national and international scale to the public and private sector. Examples of services provided by our client include asbestos surveying, air monitoring and bulk sampling.

Due to an increasing workload, the company is now looking to recruit an Asbestos Analyst in the North of Scotland.

The successful candidate must hold both the Asbestos p403 and p404 qualification and have a minimum of six months experience in the Asbestos Industry. In addition to this the candidate must have good knowledge of the current health and safety legislation as all work is carried out in accordance with MDHS 39/4 Asbestos Fibres in the Air.

The role will entail carrying out asbestos smoke, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Other duties include assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials, booking samples into the laboratory and ensuring that their analysis is carried within a given time frame, overseeing contractors and carrying out removals work in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
